Sorry to say we felt it best to recognize the current situation and take another break due to the pandemic conditions which none of us like at all! We will review things early in January and be back with an update.

We do wish you a peace filled Christmas season – may it be interrupted with lots of laughter, delightful experiences and wonders! See you on the courts in 2022 – hopefully sooner than later!

Fiona MacGregor and Anette Happel visited our club on Oct 14 to present Brian Bell with the Merrie Lee Ambassador Award for 2021 from Pickleball Ontario. It was nice enough day to also get in a few games of PB as well. A great big thank you from Brian to Pickleball Ontario, his nominators – Cindy, Mary and Mia and the whole club.

In light of the value of welcoming people to play the game of Pickleball MPC has updated their policy book to include a way for guests and visitors along with a new membership option: Seasonal Membership. For details see the policy statement here.

Depending on weather we may move to the Tennis Courts. Check here at the MPC Blog to get an update on Tuesday. Games will return to Arena on Wed., Sept. 8.

A small but mighty group of young guys launched our first Youth Camp July 19-23.

Funding for the project “Learn to Play in the Municipality of Meaford” was provided through ParticipACTION and Community Foundation Grey Bruce. Thanks so much for your support!

As of July 20, 2021 we are offering evening play at the Meaford Arena Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays.

This year thanks to our three grants we were able to add another location – the Meaford Arena. We introduced people to the game of Pickleball, held a Youth Camp for PB, updated our court locations, indoors and outdoors, and had many great games of friendly competition on the the courts. We appreciate the support of the following sponsoring grant providers.
